FAQs
Things you might be wondering.
From what's inside to when it arrives — here's everything you need to know about making Luteal yours.
What exactly is a Luteal?
Your Luteal is period care, personalised by you. Start with the essentials you actually use, choose a comfort and a craving, add any extras you fancy, then tell us when you'd like it. The idea is simple: when your period arrives, the things you normally reach for are already there.
What's included in my Luteal?
Every Luteal is built around three things: Your Essentials, Your Comforts and Your Cravings. Choose your preferred period products, something to make those few days feel a little more comfortable, and the treat you'll actually want when the time comes. You can then add extras to make it even more yours.
Can I choose which period products I receive?
Absolutely. That's the point. Choose the products you actually use rather than getting a generic mix that ends up sitting in a drawer. You'll be able to personalise your product type, absorbency and quantity from the options available.
What if I want more than one comfort or snack?
Go for it. Your standard Luteal includes a set allowance from each category, and you'll be able to add extra comforts, cravings or essentials for an additional cost. We'll always show you the price before you confirm anything.
How much does Luteal cost?
Our planned launch pricing is £19.99 for your first subscription Luteal, followed by £23.99 per delivery. Prefer not to subscribe? A one-off Luteal is planned at £26.99. Optional extras may increase the final price, and we'll always show the total before purchase.
Do I have to subscribe?
No. If you just want to try Luteal — or send one to someone else — you'll be able to choose a one-off box instead. No subscription required.
How often will my Luteal arrive?
You choose your timing. We're designing Luteal around flexible delivery intervals including every 28, 30, 35 or 56 days, as well as the ability to adjust your next delivery when life — or your period — doesn't stick to schedule.
What if my period isn't regular?
That's completely fine. Luteal doesn't try to predict your cycle for you. You choose when you'd like your next delivery and can adjust your timing when you need to.
How quickly will my Luteal arrive?
We're currently finalising our delivery service. We're aiming for UK orders to arrive around 2–3 working days after dispatch, but we'll confirm our delivery times before launch. If you're subscribing, the idea is that your Luteal arrives before you need it — not after your period has already started.
Can I get Luteal delivered outside the UK?
Not just yet. We're launching in the UK first so we can get the experience right before going further afield. International delivery is something we'd love to explore as Luteal grows.
How much is delivery?
We're still finalising our delivery arrangements and will confirm any delivery charges before launch. There won't be any surprise costs — you'll see the full price before placing an order.
Can I skip a delivery?
Yes. Some months you won't need another box, and that's fine. Luteal is designed to be flexible, so you'll be able to skip an upcoming delivery rather than receiving products you don't need.
Can I change what's in my next Luteal?
Yes. Your preferences aren't meant to be permanent. You'll be able to change your essentials, comforts, cravings and extras for future deliveries.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. We don't want you staying because cancelling is difficult. Luteal is being designed so you can manage and cancel your subscription online without having to email us to ask permission.
Can I order paracetamol or ibuprofen with my Luteal?
Not yet — but we're working on it. We're exploring a partnership that would allow everyday period pain relief such as paracetamol and ibuprofen to be sold and supplied separately by an appropriate pharmacy partner. When available, it may arrive separately from your Luteal. You can register your interest now and we'll let you know when this feature launches.
Why would pain relief arrive separately?
Medicines need to be supplied appropriately. Our planned model is for any pain relief to be sold and supplied by a pharmacy partner rather than by Luteal itself, which means it may come in a separate delivery.
Can I send a Luteal to someone as a gift?
That's part of the plan. A one-off Luteal could make a genuinely useful little care package — whether it's for a friend, sister, daughter, partner or someone who just deserves one less thing to think about.
Are the snacks suitable for different dietary requirements?
We'll clearly display the ingredients, allergen information and relevant dietary information available for food products so you can make an informed choice. The aim is to offer enough variety that your craving actually feels like your craving.
When is Luteal launching?
Soon. We're currently putting the final pieces together. Join Early Access and you'll be among the first to hear when Luteal launches, see what's available and get access to introductory offers.
